Era Living is seeking a full‑time Executive Director to become the newest member of our Senior Leadership team. You will manage one of our premier, high occupancy communities – Aljoya Mercer Island – and oversee all aspects of community operations, ensuring quality care and resident‑centered services.

• Provide 24‑hour leadership and direction for overall community operations, ensuring delivery of quality care and resident‑centered services.
• Manage sales and marketing, ensuring community census goals are met and maintained.
• Ensure compliance of programs and facilities with regulatory agencies (city, state and federal). Stay informed and monitor standards and compliance.
• Develop and implement systems for efficient and comprehensive service/care.
• Participate in state and national organizations to develop and guide long‑term care programs, policies and legislation.

• Proven success in a management role, including supervision of staff, fiscal responsibility, and business strategy.
• In-depth knowledge of personnel and business administration, public relations, and community‑based long‑term care.
• Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with residents, employees, family members, senior management, and visitors.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects and meet strict deadlines.
• Good judgment and problem‑solving skills.
• Sensitivity to the needs and concerns of older adults.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Computer literacy with experience using Word and Excel.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
• Ability to pass a DSHS background check.

• 5+ years of Operations Management experience in retirement‑living, assisted‑living or related hospitality industries (required).
• Bachelor’s degree in health‑related, business, or gerontology field (preferred).
• Current certification as specified by state agency or ability to obtain within state guidelines, including:
  • Compliance with WAC 388‑78A‑2520.
  • Caregiver Dementia & Mental Health Manager Training (or able to obtain within three months of hire).
  • Fundamentals of Care or Home Care Aide certification (or able to obtain within three months of hire).
