Position: Automotive Manufacturing Engineer Role
Drive innovation as a Manufacturing Engineer for a leading automotive firm in Kitchener. Focus on implementing engineering solutions and Lean practices to optimize productivity across the plant.

We are seeking an experienced engineer with 3-5 years in high-volume manufacturing.

Your role will encompass conducting capacity studies, defining process specifications, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. You will be pivotal in developing efficient workflows and managing process improvements while ensuring safety protocols are adhered to.

Key Responsibilities:

• Improve process flow using manufacturing engineering principles

• Perform new program feasibility studies and machine specifications

• Assist in Engineering and Process Changes with teams

• Conduct Layered Process Audits and maintain standards

• Source tools and materials for process enhancement

Requirements:

• 3-5 years in automotive manufacturing settings

• Engineering degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing fields

• Experience with 3D & 2D CAD modeling

• Knowledge of APQP & PPAP process elements

• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles
