Director of Accounting — SaaS

Meriden, CT | On‑site | $130K–$160K + benefits

We’ve partnered with a mission‑driven technology organization that provides innovative digital solutions to the healthcare and disability‑support community. They are seeking a Director of Accounting to lead day‑to‑day accounting operations, drive audit readiness, and build scalable financial processes.

This is a full‑time, on‑site role in Northwest Connecticut supporting a growing SaaS organization with multi‑state operations.

• Lead month‑end and year‑end close
• Own GAAP compliance & ASC 606 revenue recognition
• Prepare financial statements & audit packages
• Manage Quick Books Online and financial records
• Support multi‑state payroll & filings
• Implement internal controls, policies, and procedures
• Lead & develop a small accounting team (3 direct reports)

• CPA required
• 5+ years progressive accounting experience
• SaaS experience & ASC 606 required
• Quick Books Online power‑user
• Strong audit preparation experience
• Multi‑state payroll exposure (ADP preferred)
• Ability to lead with confidence & build process structure
