Professional/Registered Land Surveyor Description

Are you a registered land surveyor looking for their next step? If this is you, I have an opportunity with a strong, reputable regional general contractor in Connecticut.

Registered Land Surveyor provides lead direction to the survey teams and survey department for a large heavy highway and civil contractor. You will assign field survey crews, hire/fire for the entire department and plan, assign, and direct the daily activities of 15 field survey crews in conducting preliminary, location, construction staking, property, precise, topographic, or other engineering surveys.

• $150K-$160K/yr DOE

• R.L.S. Certification mandatory
• 5 years experience with civil construction surveying
• Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering preferred
• Good communication skills, both verbally and written
• 5 years of experience in any combination of Civil 3d, Open Roads Designer, Trimble Business Center, Pix 4D, Revit, etc. (Relevant combination of work experience and education may also be considered
• Ability to operate and train equipment including but not limited to sUAS hardware, GPS, data collector, machine control, etc.

You will manage the entire survey department, and possess great people skills. Must be a self starter.
