Description & Qualifications

We are seeking an experienced Survey Technician/Crew Chief to join our team. The role focuses on field data processing, boundary determination, and digital mapping using advanced survey technologies. Local travel of 25-50% is required.

The ideal candidate will have:

• 4+ years of experience in Survey Technology, Boundary Surveying, Construction Stakeout, and ALTA Surveys
• Proficiency in Civil3D
• Experience with Microstation, Leica Infinity, and Bluebeam Revu (preferred)
• Strong technical and analytical skills

Responsibilities include converting field notes into electronic survey maps, processing data, interpreting deed descriptions, utilizing CAD software, and creating Digital Terrain Models. The role requires strong technical skills and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

• Convert field notes and sketches into electronic survey maps
• Process horizontal and vertical field data using survey coordinate geometry programs
• Interpret and plot deed descriptions for boundary determination
• Utilize AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Microstation for survey operations
• Create Digital Terrain Models (DTM) for contour generation
• Follow company standards and procedures
• Travel locally 25-50%, with occasional overnight stays
