REQUIRED:

Lead Clinical Excellence: Serve as a clinical resource and mentor for the technician team, ensuring all patient work-ups and information gathering meet the high standards of our ophthalmologists.
Oversee Diagnostic Standards: Monitor the quality of preliminary examinations and advanced diagnostics (OCT, perimetry, etc.) performed by the team, providing coaching and troubleshooting as needed
- Master ophthalmic testing: Conduct thorough preliminary examinations, including visual acuity, pupillary responses, and more.
- Perform advanced diagnostics: Administer a range of diagnostic tests, such as OCT, perimetry, and ophthalmic photography.
- Assist in surgical procedures: Support ophthalmologists during minor surgeries, laser procedures, and crosslinking.
- Streamline patient flow: Efficiently manage patient flow in clinic and imaging rooms, collaborating with clinical staff.
- Contribute to clinic efficiency: Perform clinical and administrative tasks, ensuring a smooth and organized workflow.
- Proven ability to lead a team by example with a passion for patient care and professional excellence.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

- Proven experience as an Ophthalmic Technician.
- Knowledge of medical office procedures.
- Ability to perform indirect activities, administrative tasks and any other assigned duties that contribute to the efficient & high-quality performance of the medical practice.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (COA) Certification.

Hours: up to 40 hours per week ///
