Your Impact:- Elevate patient care: Work closely with our ophthalmologists to gather comprehensive patient information, ensuring accurate diagnoses and personalized treatment plans.
- Master ophthalmic testing: Conduct thorough preliminary examinations, including visual acuity, pupillary responses, and more.
- Perform advanced diagnostics: Administer a range of diagnostic tests, such as OCT, perimetry, and ophthalmic photography.
- Assist in surgical procedures: Support ophthalmologists during minor surgeries, laser procedures, and crosslinking.
- Streamline patient flow: Efficiently manage patient flow in clinic and imaging rooms, collaborating with clinical staff.
- Administer eye drops: (Certification Required)
- Contribute to clinic efficiency: Perform clinical and administrative tasks, ensuring a smooth and organized workflow.
- A passion for patient care and a commitment to excellence.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Proven experience as an Ophthalmic Technician.
- Knowledge of medical office procedures.
- Ability to perform indirect activities, administrative tasks and any other assigned duties that contribute to the efficient & high-quality performance of the medical practice.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (COA) Certification.
Skills:
- Reliability and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.
- Proficiency in data entry and typing.
- Outstanding customer service skills.
Hours: up to 40 hours per week ///
