The Perinatal Safety Nurse will oversee the development, implementation, and evaluation of obstetric patient safety and quality initiatives. This role is ideal for experienced nurses looking to champion maternal safety programs within a collaborative leadership team.

• Oversee the development and implementation of obstetric patient safety initiatives.
• Champion the system-wide Maternal Quality and Safety Program.
• Develop and execute patient-centered safety initiatives.
• Collaborate with the leadership team to evaluate quality initiatives.
• Serve as the unit safety champion.

• BSN required

• 5+ years of obstetric/labor and delivery experience

• Current RN License in Connecticut
• Fetal Monitoring Certification
• NRP certification
• BLS certification
