Westaff is looking for Finishing Machine Operators for Manufacturer in Meriden, CT!
Shift:6:00AM to 4:30PM, Monday to Thursday
Pay Rate:$19/hr
The Finishing Operator responsibilities are:- Metal Painting/Coating, Post Cure, Buffing, De-flashing, Bonding, Engraving
- Various Machine Operations such as:
Harperizer, Blaster, Ink Jet, Ink Stamp, Die-Cut, Priming, and High-Temp ovens - Operate molding machinery
- Follow instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
- Identify issues and bring them to management’s attention.
- Assist other staff with all duties when assistance is needed.
- Follow company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all applicable state or federal laws.
- Participate in all required internal training.
- Performs other work as assigned within the department or in other departments as workload determines.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Working knowledge of precision measuring equipment such as calipers and snap gauges
- Basic computer skills required
- Physical stamina and strength
- Must be able to stand for 10 hours
- Must be able to occasionally pick up 50lb boxes
