We are seeking an Electronic Assembly Technician for a radiation detection instrumentation manufacturer which would be a great opportunity for someone with experience in soldering, mechanical assembly, and blueprint reading looking to further their career in electronics manufacturing.

• Build electronic and mechanical cryostat assemblies and sub-assemblies from work orders, drawings, and work instructions
• Perform precision soldering, epoxy vacuum components, and clean hardware to quality standards
• Leak test, evacuate, and assemble cryogenic and vacuum hardware such as dewars and cryostats
• Inspect assemblies for workmanship, soldering accuracy, and conformance to drawings and QA standards
• Work with Engineering to resolve production issues; maintain supplies and equipment; overtime as needed

• High school diploma or equivalent; entry-level, no prior experience required if education is met
• Strong soldering skills, basic electronics knowledge, blueprint reading, hand tools, basic algebra, metric measurements, safe chemical handling
• U.S. citizenship required (no dual citizens)

• Basic vacuum and leak testing knowledge
• Inspection experience, including some microscope usage
