Job Summary:

As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at Vantage Health & Rehab of New Bedford, you will provide daily nursing care and services to assigned residents in accordance with each resident’s assessment and care plan. Duties And Responsibilities:

• Participating in and receiving the nursing report at the start of each shift.
• Assisting residents with daily oral hygiene and mouth care needs.
• Aiding residents with bathing (bed bath, tub, or shower) and dressing/undressing.
• Helping with lifting, turning, moving, and positioning residents safely.
• Recording all entries in flow sheets, notes, and charts in an informative and descriptive manner.
• Reporting any changes in a resident’s condition promptly to the Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse.
• Reporting all accidents and incidents observed during the shift.
• Preparing residents’ rooms for new admissions (bed made, name tags, admission kit, etc.).
• Following assigned work schedules and tasks.
• Cooperating with other departments and facility personnel to ensure resident needs are met.

Qualifications And Skills:

• A current Certified Nursing Assistant License in Massachusetts.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Solid English communication skills.
• A genuine passion for caring for the elderly.
• A flexible schedule and willingness to help the team succeed.

• Full-Time, Part-Time, Per Diem positions available for Certified Nursing Assistants on all shifts.
