DESCRIPTION:
Registered Nurse – Detox
Location: Meriden, CT 06450
Shift: Nights, Sunday–Thursday
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in an acute care setting.
- Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions accurately in EPIC.
- Administer medications and treatments safely according to protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to implement individualized care plans.
- Respond to emergencies and implement interventions as needed.
- Provide patient and family education regarding health, treatment plans, and recovery.
- Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and facility policies.
Qualifications:
- Required: Active RN license in CT
- Required: BLS (AHA) certification
- Minimum of 2 years of acute care nursing experience
- Preferred: Experience in behavioral health or addiction medicine
- Highly Preferred: EPIC electronic health record experience
