Core Responsibilities

• Read the assigned fabrication details for the authorized Meriden welding and fabrication assignment.
• Measure and mark the stock to be fabricated for the authorized Meriden welding and fabrication assignment.
• Cut the assigned metal components for the authorized Meriden welding and fabrication assignment.
• Prepare joint surfaces for welding for the authorized Meriden welding and fabrication assignment.
• Fit and align the components before joining for the authorized Meriden welding and fabrication assignment.
• Perform the authorized welds for the authorized Meriden welding and fabrication assignment.
• Finish the fabricated joints and edges for the authorized Meriden welding and fabrication assignment.
• Inspect the completed Meriden welding and fabrication work against the assigned details.
• Correct defects found in the assigned Meriden welding and fabrication work.
• Clean the Meriden welding and fabrication work area and record the work completed.

What You Bring

• Relevant experience for this project-based role.
• Strong written communication, documentation, and stakeholder coordination skills.
• Ability to work against project deadlines and client requirements.
• Experience supporting public-sector, enterprise, or consulting projects is preferred.
