We’re looking for an Accountant who shares our values and can work independently in a fast-paced, small-business environment.
Job Description:
We’re seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to support our day-to-day financial operations. This role reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and plays a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts, and supporting strategic financial decisions. Given our small team structure, we’re looking for someone who is proactive, a quick learner, and can operate with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
- Prepare journal entries and financial statements
- Manage accounts payable and receivable
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and job cost tracking
- Perform invoice entry and oversee job costing
- Reconcile bank and credit card accounts
- Collaborate with vendors, subcontractors, and external partners
- Assist the CFO with various financial projects and reporting
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required)
- CPA certification preferred but not required
- 0–3+ years of accounting experience (recent graduates encouraged to apply)
- Experience with job costing or construction accounting a plus
- Proficiency in Excel and accounting software (Sage preferred)
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask
- Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment
