Tax Manager

Overview

Silver Bridge CPAs, a full-service CPA firm located in Meridian, , provides tax, accounting and advisory services for a diverse roster of clients. We are currently seeking a hands-on, self-starting tax leader with 4+ years of recent public accounting tax experience for an important role on our tax leadership team managing tax engagements for small to mid-size, closely held businesses, non-profit organizations, trusts and estates and individuals.

• Prepare and review complex tax returns including individual, business, non-profit and trust and estate returns
• Lead multiple engagements throughout all phases of tax and accounting including research, planning, consulting and financial statement preparation
• Review and evaluate staff work
• Research and resolve tax issues
• Advise clients while building professional client relationships

• Bachelor s degree in Accounting
• CPA license required
• 4+ years of recent public accounting tax experience including preparation of individual and business tax returns
• Demonstrated knowledge of tax law and GAAP with the ability to effectively perform tax research and communicate findings
• Strong organization, communication, analytical, client service, leadership, time management and PC skills including Microsoft Office and tax software proficiency (CCH Pro System fx and/or CCH Axcess proficiency are a plus)
• Attention to detail with the ability to effectively juggle multiple priorities, meet deadlines, mentor staff and work effectively in a paperless, team-oriented environment
