Traffic Engineer - EIT or PE

Location: Meridian,

Compensation: $82,000 - $96,000 / year

Unmatched Comp Time Policy: Hours worked over 40 in a week can be reimbursed as additional pay at an equivalent hourly rate or banked as additional PTO.

As a Traffic Engineer - EIT or PE, you will be responsible for a variety of projects, taking ownership from start to finish.

Responsibilities, Expectations, and Duties
  • Produce project deliverables including technical memoranda, design plans and specifications, and technical reports
  • Design signing and striping improvements for urban streets, rural highways, and interstates.
  • Design traffic signal and lighting systems.
  • Develop maintenance of traffic and traffic control plans
  • Conduct traffic analysis
  • Prepare supporting calculations, construction specifications, and permitting in various jurisdictions
  • Maintain effective communications with clients and project teams
Qualifications, Skills, and Competencies
  • Interest in both Traffic Analysis and Traffic Design
  • Must be able to work effectively as a team leader in a group environment and maintain positive relationships with team members and clients
  • Organized and detail-oriented with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Blue Beam Re Vu
  • Experience in AutoCAD and/or Bentley Open Roads Designer
  • Undergraduate or graduate degree in civil engineering
  • 0 to 6 years of experience, EIT (passing FE exam required) or P.E.
