Electrical Consultants, Inc. (ECI) is a leading power engineering consultant firm that provides engineering, system planning, technical consultation, project management, surveying, environmental planning, commissioning/testing, and construction services to electric utilities, energy developers, and industrial customers across the U.S. Our experience spans system voltages from 4.16 kV through 765 kV.

• Conceptual, preliminary, and final detailed design of new, upgraded, and expanded substations.
• Material procurement, construction management, and commissioning/startup support through energization.
• Development and delivery of physical, electrical, civil, and communication design studies, calculations, drawings, exhibits, and specifications.
• Coordination, quality control, and oversight of designers, drafters, and support staff under the mentorship of a Project Engineer.
• Collaboration with ECI’s subject‑matter experts in Distribution, Transmission, Grounding, Protection (relay coordination), Civil Engineering, Communication (SCADA integration), and Transmission & Distribution Engineering.

• Bachelor of Science or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering (design engineering experience is a plus).
• Fundamental knowledge of power engineering principles and applicable codes and standards.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong organization and planning ability, and teamwork orientation.
• Commitment to quality, accuracy, and fast‑paced project schedules.
• Willingness to pursue PE licensure.
• Occasional travel/driving and subject to client‑mandated drug & background checks.
