Entry Level Field Technicians

Join Geo Tek as an Entry Level Field Technician at our Meridian office. Geo Tek, founded in 1997, is a full‑service consulting engineering firm specializing in geotechnical engineering, construction materials testing, special inspections, and environmental consulting. We are dedicated to building strong business partnerships by delivering high‑quality customer service and professional consultation.

• Perform a variety of field testing and site assessment duties.
• Operate equipment and conduct tests/assessments according to drawings, specifications, diagrams, and written instructions.
• Prepare daily data reports of testing and inspections.
• Communicate with Supervisors and Dispatch to obtain daily work assignments.
• Submit company documents related to projects and maintain accurate time sheets.
• Obtain required field authorizations and advise management of changes in scope or potential budget overruns.
• Maintain positive business relationships with clients, contractors, subcontractors, and material suppliers.

• Current or willing to obtain Nuke Gauge, WAQTC DTT, or ACI Field certification.
• Valid driver’s license and able to use truck, van, or SUV for field work.
• Ability to lift over 50 pounds and work in adverse weather or site conditions.
• Good or corrected vision and manual dexterity.
• Desire to work in the field and willingness to learn.

Pay Range: $17–$25 USD per hour, plus vehicle and gas reimbursements.
