Cardiac Sonographer

The Cardiac Sonographer will perform high-quality echo cardiographic exams, including transthoracic, stress, and contrast studies, to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular conditions.

This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to patient care.

You must be willing to adapt to changes effectively, and respond to consistent variations in patient workloads. Must have a willingness to learn new technologies and protocols. • Perform and analyze echocardiograms and other ultrasound procedures.
• Collaborate with cardiologists to interpret results and ensure diagnostic accuracy.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Ensure equipment is properly maintained and calibrated.
• Provide a safe and comfortable environment for patients during procedures.
• Explain different imaging procedures to patients and be able to answer questions confidently regarding different cardiac procedures and protocols.
• Abide by HIPAA compliant patient privacy standards of practice.
• Demonstrate a basic understanding of different cardiac functions and disease processes pertaining to the imaging performed and other aspects of heart care.
• Maintain current knowledge of the frequent advances, innovations, and developments in the field.
• Keep inventory of supplies and materials used and order supplies when necessary for the department.
• Assist with scheduling and confirming appointments related to diagnostic imaging.
• Be able to work in a team‑based environment free of discrimination or personal biases.
• Be willing to assist with other duties as assigned.

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field.
• ARDMS or CCI certification in echocardiography (RDCS or RCS).
• Minimum 1 year of experience in cardiac sonography preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• CPR/BLS certification required.

• Experience with cardiac sonography
• Background in IV catheterization techniques

This is a new Full‑time position.
