We're Growing! Come Grow With Our ‘Ohana!

Position: Caregiver / Direct Support Professional (DSP)

Location: Nampa, Idaho

Company: Mana Resources

Looking for more than just a paycheck? Want a job where you can have fun, grow as a person, and truly make a difference in someone's life?

Mana Resources is growing, and we're looking for compassionate, outgoing, dependable, and fun-loving individuals to join our Direct Support team! As we welcome more participants into our residential program, we're excited to expand our team with people who genuinely enjoy helping others.

The best part? You don't need caregiving experience to get started!

We can teach you the skills, provide the training, and help you build the confidence to succeed. What we're really looking for is something that can't always be taught: kindness, patience, a positive attitude, and a heart for helping others.

What Does a Direct Support Professional Do?

As a DSP, you'll support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities as they build independence, learn new skills, and enjoy everyday life.

Your days might include:
  • Helping participants learn everyday skills like cooking, cleaning, budgeting, and personal care.
  • Getting out into the community for shopping, activities, appointments, and fun outings.
  • Encouraging participants to work toward their personal goals and celebrate their accomplishments.
  • Providing companionship, emotional support, and a positive, encouraging environment.
  • Assisting with medications and daily routines.
  • Maintaining a safe, comfortable, and welcoming home.
  • Working alongside a supportive team to provide individualized care and complete daily documentation.

Some days you'll be teaching, some days you'll be learning, and every day you'll have the opportunity to make a difference.

Who We're Looking For

You might be a great fit if you:

  • Are compassionate, kind, patient, and genuinely enjoy helping people.
  • Have an outgoing personality and enjoy making everyday activities fun.
  • Are dependable, responsible, and willing to learn.
  • Enjoy working with others and building meaningful relationships.
  • Want a job that challenges you, helps you grow, and gives you a sense of purpose.
  • Are interested in building a career with opportunities for advancement.

No previous caregiving experience required! We welcome individuals who are new to the field and excited to learn.

Position Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable, registered, and insured transportation.
  • Ability to successfully complete required background checks.
  • CPR/First Aid and Assistance with Medications certifications (guidance on obtaining certifications provided).
  • Availability to work assigned shifts, including weekends or holidays as scheduled.
We offer:
  • Competitive hourly pay.
  • Paid on-the-job training and continued learning opportunities.
  • Opportunities for professional growth and advancement within our growing agency.
  • Flexible scheduling opportunities.
  • Medical, dental, and vision benefits for eligible full-time employees.
  • Paid time off for eligible employees.
  • A welcoming, team-oriented environment built around compassion, respect, and our Spirit of Aloha.

Whether you're exploring a new career, looking for meaningful work, or hoping to grow within the human services field, Mana Resources could be the perfect place to start.

Your Heart Matters More Than Your Experience!

You don't have to know everything on day one. You just have to be willing to learn, show up with a positive attitude, and genuinely care about the people you support.

At Mana Resources, we're not just filling positions. We're building a team of people who want to make a difference, grow together, and create a place where everyone feels like family.
