As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will serve as a clinical leader within our behavioral health hospital, providing high-quality, patient-centered care while supporting a therapeutic healing environment. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary treatment team to assess patient needs, develop individualized care plans, administer medications, and guide patients through their recovery journey.
Registered Nurse (RN) Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized plans of care.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust interventions as needed.
- Provide compassionate nursing care in a behavioral health setting.
- Safely administer medications and educate patients on treatment plans.
- Respond effectively to psychiatric and medical emergencies.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, social workers, and healthcare professionals.
- Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Support discharge planning and continuity of care.
- Delegate nursing responsibilities appropriately while helping guide and mentor support staff.
- Promote a safe, therapeutic, and recovery-focused environment.
- Advocate for patient safety, dignity, and wellness.
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice or eligible Compact RN License.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred.
- Previous inpatient hospital or behavioral health experience preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking abilities.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to remain calm and effective in a fast-paced behavioral health environment.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Commitment to delivering compassionate, high-quality patient care.
- Current CPR certification or ability to obtain upon hire.
