Journeyman Painter

Journeyman Painter – Scentsy, Inc. (Corporate Office)

We are seeking a skilled Journeyman Painter to apply paint, stain, and finishes on interior and exterior structures.

• Prepare work areas with drop cloths, tapes and masks as needed, and remove fixtures.
• Apply paint, stain, and other finishes to equipment, buildings, and other structures using brushes, sprayers, or rollers.
• Prepare surfaces by applying primers and sealers.
• Perform general site clean‑up, removing debris and trash from work sites daily.
• Move, load, and unload materials.
• Assist in light construction work if necessary.
• Properly use a 6‑foot ladder.
• Paint and assist other painters.
• Perform all other assigned tasks and requirements as needed.
• Some specialized tasks may require on‑the‑job training (Scissor Lift, boom lift, etc.)

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 5 years of experience in commercial painting, with a strong background in both interior and exterior techniques.
• Extensive knowledge of all aspects of the painting process.
• Ability to work independently without direct supervision.
• Ability to understand and follow directions.
• Ability to stand on your feet for long periods of time.
• Ability to frequently bend, squat, stand/walk, push, and pull up to 100 lbs., reach above shoulder level, have both arms and legs accessible, and perform manual dexterity.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions.
• Ability to occasionally sit, climb, crawl, and kneel.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds repeatedly daily.
• Ability to ascend and descend stairs, step stools, ladders, scaffolding, platform ladders, or mechanically elevated devices and be comfortable around heights and working on a roof.

Meridian,  – Salary range $75,000.00 – $95,000.00.
