** Job Summary
** The Field Service Technician is responsible for performing field service activities at customer sites in a safe, efficient, and professional manner. This role includes troubleshooting, repairing, installing, and maintaining mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, diesel, and other specialized equipment depending on the business unit. The technician will perform preventative maintenance, manage parts inventory, identify and resolve equipment and safety issues, and provide exceptional customer service.

This position requires strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and the ability to work independently in a variety of field environments.

** Essential Responsibilities
*** Promote and maintain a safe work environment for employees, customers, and contractors.
* Perform troubleshooting, repair, installation, and preventative maintenance on customer- and company-owned equipment.
* Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, diesel, and other equipment issues as applicable to the business unit.
* Manage parts inventory and maintain accurate service documentation.
* Identify, communicate, and address safety concerns at customer sites.
* Deliver high-quality customer service while serving as a primary point of contact in the field.
* Complete service reports and required documentation accurately and on time.
* Demonstrate accountability, innovation, and ownership in daily work activities.
* Collaborate effectively with team members while maintaining the ability to work independently.
* Support multiple customer locations, systems, and technologies as required.  
** Qualifications
* ** High school diploma or GED required.
* 0–2 years of technical, mechanical, electrical, diesel, or related field service experience preferred.
* Prior customer-facing experience preferred.
* Experience with mechanical equipment, electrical systems, diesel, hydraulics, HVAC, automotive, industrial equipment, pumps, fusion, or related technical fields is a plus.
* Ability to obtain required customer site clearances, including TWIC, DISA, or other site-specific requirements.
* Ability to obtain and maintain a DOT Medical Card, if required.
* Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record required.
