About the RoleWe seek a MEP Coordinator to provide construction management support services to our valued client's data center practice. 8 years’ construction experience is required. The MEP Coordinator's main responsibility is to be a critical on-site resource, representing the Owner's interests in the planning, execution, and close-out of the Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems for a large-scale datacenter construction project.
General responsibilities include:Project Coordination & Oversight
- On-Site Owner Support :
Provide dedicated, on-site representation for the Owner, acting as a technical resource and communication hub for all MEP and commissioning activities. - Interface Management :
Serve as the primary liaison, fostering collaborative relationships with the General Contractor’s (GC) MEP team, Owner Furnished, Contractor Installed (OFCI) vendors, and the Commissioning Agent. - Technical Review & Quality Assurance :
Participate in and provide input on submittals, RFIs, and change proposals related to MEP systems. Conduct regular field walks to monitor installation quality and progress against approved plans, specifications, and the project schedule. - Issue Resolution :
