Creative Manager

Classification: Exempt

Reports to: Director of Marketing and Corporate Communication

Date: November 3, 2025

Summary/Objective:

The Creative Manager is responsible for managing marketing and communication projects through the entire creative process while maintaining the integrity of the Citizens National Bank brand. This responsibility includes functioning as a liaison between the bank and its various marketing agency and vendor partners. In addition, the Creative Manager is responsible for functioning as a graphic designer, multimedia designer, videographer and photographer on behalf of the bank.

Primary

Functions:
  • Reports to the Director of Marketing and Corporate Communication and provides support in developing marketing collateral that effectively and distinctively promotes Citizens National Bank's brand and product offerings to various audiences.
  • Leads the creative planning and development process from concept to completion. Ensures projects are compliant, completed on time and within budget.
  • Leads the bank's external agency and vendor partners in developing and executing differentiated and effective marketing campaigns across all marketing channels.
  • Maintains corporate identity, design standards and policies.
  • Manages marketing and communication vendor relationships.
  • Translates customer research and performance data into actionable creative and design strategies.
  • Partners with key stakeholders to conceptualize and execute creative that supports brand awareness, product adoption and customer experience.
  • Collaborates with internal stakeholders across the bank to ensure all deliverables align with project objectives, meet established quality standards and are completed on schedule.
  • Supports the messaging, content, video and copywriting needs of internal stakeholders to support their business units.
  • Creates templated designs for marketing deliverables to be used by the marketing and communication team such as social media content, CNB Connect content, digital signage content, email content and various other materials.
  • Functions as bank photographer and videographer to capture content on behalf of the organization.
  • Directs and oversees brand photography and video shoots, ensuring alignment with brand tone and visual storytelling goals.
  • Ensures all creative materials incorporate required disclosures, meet accessibility standards and comply with applicable industry regulations.
  • Maintains detailed records of bank's marketing and advertising campaigns for audit and compliance purposes.
Secondary Functions:
  • Monitors industry trends to ensure that creative strategies align with evolving customer needs and channel best practices.
  • Performs other functions and special projects as needed to assist others in completing tasks and work assignments.

Supervisory Responsibility:

This position has no supervisory responsibilities other than managing agency and vendor relationships.

Work Environment:

This position operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones and printers.

Physical Demands:

Prolonged periods of working at a desk.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

Travel:

Minimal travel is expected for this position.

Required Education, Experience, and

Skills:
  • A bachelor's degree in graphic design, film, video production or a related field. Equivalent work experience with required knowledge and skills may be substituted for a degree.
  • Proficiency in using design and video editing programs like the Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Premiere Pro) and Final Cut Pro.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of graphic design and video production experience.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as excellent organizational skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong administrative, analytical and problem‑solving skills along with excellent project management skills.
  • Preferred

    Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree and 5 or more years of related experience.
  • One or more years of bank marketing experience.
