Lead Complex Power & Industrial Projects That MatterLake Superior Consulting is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer – Power Generation to join our growing team. This is a high-impact technical leadership role for an experienced engineer who thrives on solving complex electrical design challenges and leading projects from concept through execution.
In this role, you will support a wide range of industrial and energy infrastructure projects, including Oil & Gas, Renewables, Distributed Power, Data Centers, and Power Generation. You’ll serve as a technical lead, client partner, and mentor—helping deliver practical, high-quality engineering solutions while guiding project teams and supporting business growth.
What You’ll DoAs a Senior Electrical Engineer – Power Generation , you will play a key role in the design, execution, and delivery of complex electrical engineering projects.
Key Responsibilities- Lead moderate to large-scale electrical engineering projects from concept through delivery
- Serve as a technical lead and make sound decisions on complex engineering issues
- Develop and oversee:
Power system designs, Controls drawings, Engineering calculations, Technical reports and Project documentation
- Develop and oversee:
- Design electrical service interconnects in coordination with local utility providers
- Prepare specifications for the procurement, installation, and testing of electrical equipment
- Perform and/or lead:
Electrical system studies, detailed design work, design reviews, field investigations and technical reporting
- Perform and/or lead:
- Use engineering software such as SKM or ETAP for system modeling and analysis
- Coordinate closely with project managers, clients, contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders
- Identify project risks, scope changes, and technical challenges early and proactively
