Him​/Medical Records Spec​/Tech

HIM/MEDICAL RECORDS SPEC/TECH at Alliance Health Center

Location: Meridian, Mississippi

• Perform discharge analysis for each discharge.
• Identify deficiencies in medical records.
• Release of information and carry out general medical record functions.
• Work under the direction of the HIM director to support the HIM team and adhere to hospital policies.

• Degree in Medical Records Coding, Medical Records Technology/Assistant, or related field, or equivalent experience (preferred).
• Minimum of one year’s experience in medical records (required).
• Strong organizational and computer skills (required).
• Ability to work confidentially and observe all HIPAA rules.
• Enjoy working with the public and possess excellent communication skills.
