HIM/MEDICAL RECORDS SPEC/TECH at Alliance Health Center
Location: Meridian, Mississippi
Responsibilities- Perform discharge analysis for each discharge.
- Identify deficiencies in medical records.
- Release of information and carry out general medical record functions.
- Work under the direction of the HIM director to support the HIM team and adhere to hospital policies.
- Degree in Medical Records Coding, Medical Records Technology/Assistant, or related field, or equivalent experience (preferred).
- Minimum of one year’s experience in medical records (required).
- Strong organizational and computer skills (required).
- Ability to work confidentially and observe all HIPAA rules.
- Enjoy working with the public and possess excellent communication skills.
