America's Car-Mart is seeking a dynamic and self-motivated Assistant Manager to join our organization. If you have prior extensive experience in supervisory roles, retail sales, and a passion for creating positive customer experiences, we want to hear from you. As an Assistant Manager, you will have the opportunity to learn all aspects of running a dealership, interact with diverse customers, and contribute to our success.

Our 90‑day training program will prepare you for success. It is also possible to progress into a General Manager role depending on prior experience and performance.

• Excellent communication skills
• Prior, extensive supervisory experience
• Ability to solve problems and implement innovative solutions in a variety of situations
• Computer proficiency and strong mathematical skills
• Ability to prioritize and effectively multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment
• Previous experience mediating conflict in the workplace
• Available to work flexible hours and weekends, including overtime as needed
• Acceptable driving record and valid driver’s license
• Basic knowledge of and interest in automobiles is a plus

Base salary of $40,000 to $55,000 plus monthly bonus opportunities based on dealership sales and collections goals.

• Receive training and perform duties in several departments such as office, service, collections, sales, and inventory management
• Learn lot‑level staff functions, operations, management viewpoints, and company policies and practices that affect each phase of business
• Set and monitor performance goals with upper management; attend company‑sponsored training classes
• Work next to associates to acquire knowledge of methods, procedures, and standards required for the performance of departmental duties
• Receive training in functions and operations of related departments to facilitate subsequent transferability and greater promotional opportunities
• Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company policies and applicable laws
