• Strong background in mechanical knowledge and industrial maintenance.
• Ability to read measuring tools such as measuring tape, calipers, micrometers, and dial indicators.
• Pay close attention to machine infeed, outfeed, multiple computer screens, and up to eight camera monitors simultaneously.
• Navigate an HMI screen and operation program to make adjustments during the run and while the machine is shut down.
• Willingness to work long hours and some weekends to keep the machine in good running order for the shift.
• Supply hand tools such as open-end and box-end wrenches, ratchet, sockets, Allen wrenches, channel-lock pliers, and crescent wrench.
• Proficient with an oxygen/acetylene torch and a welding machine.
• Comfortable working in small or tight spaces.
• Proficient with adjusting and using a torque wrench.
• Basic understanding of pneumatic cylinders, hydraulic cylinders, servo valves etc.
• Understanding of basic lock-out/tag-out procedures and their importance.

It is the responsibility of the operator to operate the machine safely and proficiently while maintaining and servicing the machine as needed.
