Recreation Assistant Lead Lifeguard; Summer Season

This position is assigned to Fitness, Sports, and Deployed Support Branch (N921 );
Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR, N92);
Fleet and Family Readiness (FFR N9);
Commander, Navy Region Southeast (CNRSE), Navy Installations Command (CNIC); located at NAS Meridian, MS. The incumbent serves as the lead lifeguard and is responsible for safeguarding the lives of persons at the assigned work area. Incumbent assists with aquatic training, education, and general support at the installation.

Certifications must be attached with submission of application or resume to be considered for this position

• Must meet Federal Employment suitability requirements and successful completion of background investigation. Background investigations are conducted using fingerprint identification and completion of background inquiry forms.
• Must successfully pass the E-verify employment verification check. Any discrepancies must be resolved as a condition of employment.
• You must go through a Personal Identity Verification (PIV) process that requires two forms of identification from the Form I-9.
• May be required to pass pre‑employment examinations.
• A valid State driver's license is required to operate motor vehicles.
• Must have your salary sent to a financial institution of your choice by Direct Deposit/Electronic Funds Transfer.
• Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.
