The Quality Control Manager (QCM) ensures projects meet all quality and compliance standards. They lead quality control activities, perform inspections, and implement corrective actions when needed. With expertise in federal construction regulations and safety, the QCM maintains a robust quality management system, addressing issues and ensuring top‑note outcomes. This role is crucial in delivering high‑quality projects and driving successful project completion.

This position is based in Meridian, MS. We provide paid lodging and per diem for employees working at this location.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Develop, administer, and ensure compliance with the Quality Control Plan for projects, following the Army Corps Three Phases of Control.
  • Certify that all submittals, plans, and specifications meet contract requirements, and oversee evaluations and testing by approved personnel or facilities.
  • Provide documented evaluations and corrective actions to maintain high‑quality standards and minimize recurring issues.
Minimum Qualifications
  • OSHA 30‑hour
  • USACE CQM Certification
  • Experience with Procore and RMS
  • Proficient with Word, Excel, and PDF
  • Proven experience as a QCM on similar federal projects
  • In‑depth knowledge of quality control procedures and legal standards
  • Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving skills
  • Excellent organizational and leadership abilities
Additional Qualifying Factors

As a condition of employment, you will be required to pass a pre‑employment drug screening (post‑accepted offer) and have acceptable background check results. If applicable to the contract, you must also obtain the appropriate clearance levels required and be able to obtain access to military installations.

frequent opportunity to move about and to work outside the office environment for extended periods involving exposure to the elements with weather that will include extreme heat, cold, wind, rain or other inclement weather, walking over rough and uneven surfaces, and routine lifting of up to 35 pounds. If required, must properly use personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times including but not limited to: hard hats, steel‑toed boots, eye protection, respiratory protection, and hearing protection.

Must always maintain a constant state of mental alertness.

Working Conditions

Job is performed in a combination of office and outdoor site locations. The office setting includes exposure to computer screens and requires extensive use of a computer, keyboard, and mouse.
