The Retail Service Specialist will support the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in sales, customer service, store appearance, and store operations. This position will also assume shift management responsibilities in the absence of Assistant or Store Manager.

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels in the retail showroom, including team member execution on programs such as Related Sales, Hi5, Rock the Call, Never Say No, Rock the Lot, etc.
• Ensure telephone calls are answered according to company policy.
• Process all buy online/ship to store, hub and store-to-store transfers, and DC add orders in a timely manner and contact customers upon shipment arrivals as needed.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently and according to procedure, utilizing electronic outside purchase order ledger.
• Process retail customer returns and exchanges efficiently and friendly; issue refunds accurately using correct payment methods; stage returned merchandise correctly in the returns area.
• Invoice all merchandise, including core charges and warranties, before product leaves the store.
• Communicate Zipline messages and complete Image Maker and merchandising tasks as assigned.
• Ensure team members adhere to posted work schedule; approve changes/deviations; clock in/out according to company policy.
• Perform all store opening/closing duties, including day‑end procedures, money deposits, bank deposits, security lights, door locks, alarm arming/disarming, and secure delivery vehicle(s).
• All other duties as assigned.

• Required: Strong communication skills
• Required: Ability to obtain RSS Certification
• Desired: Retail sales experience, preferably in auto parts
• Desired: Automotive systems and repair knowledge
• Desired: ASE Certification
• Desired: Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired)
