Accounting Manager – Hybrid

A well-established professional services firm is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join its Finance team. Reporting to the Director of Finance, this role will oversee day-to-day accounting operations, monthly close, treasury functions, payroll, partner-related accounting, and financial reporting while managing and developing a team.

• Manage and mentor accounting staff and oversee daily accounting operations
• Lead the monthly close process, journal entries, reconciliations, and account analysis
• Oversee banking, treasury, cash reporting, and escrow account activities
• Manage payroll, 401(k) funding, partner expenses, and related accounting
• Review financial reports and assist with audits and annual financial statement reviews
• Support accounting system upgrades, implementations, and special projects
• Work closely with attorneys, partners, banking institutions, and internal leadership

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 4+ years of accounting experience and 2+ years of supervisory experience
• Professional services or law firm accounting experience required
• Experience with Aderant or Elite required
• Strong Excel skills;
  Ceridian and Chrome River experience a plus
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
