Risk Manager/Analyst, Insurance Analyst
Hybrid position with in office days Tuesday-Thursday; can be located in Merrill, Milwaukee, or Madison, WI.

As a key player on our team, you will bring innovative workflow optimization solutions to life through cross-functional collaboration. Your mission will be to conduct research and analysis in support of strategic value proposition across internal and external stakeholders.
You will harness the power of data insights to steer profitability and efficiency initiatives that directly support corporate and departmental strategy. This role drives continuous improvement and workflow efficiencies across a highly configurable workflow management system, and you'll be at the forefront of driving these initiatives forward.
Responsibilities- Apply solid understanding of the policyholder lifecycle and work cross-functionally to streamline processes and minimize expenses.
- Collaborate with other citizen developers and underwriting teams to ensure that proposed solutions are feasible and effectively implemented.
- Identify and propose solutions to streamline business processes, optimize operations, and increase efficiency.
- Develop and evaluate existing underwriting applications, surveys, data sources, and implementation of new technologies to support data collection and usage.
- Manage multi-system projects with focus on underwriting profitability and expense management.
- Engage with product, actuarial, and claim in the research, design, development, and enhancement of insurance products and protocols in proactive response to emerging issues.
- Develop and maintain assigned underwriting protocols and guidelines, applying data-driven decision-making and structured communication strategy.
- Communicate project status, including key timeliness, technical issues, dependencies, constraints, and impacts to senior leadership team, impacted units, and stakeholders.
- Work closely with compliance team in support of underwriting resource development for adherence to regulatorily requirements.
- Bachelor's degree or comparable industry experience may be considered with a high school diploma or equivalent required.
- Organized and self‑motivated.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills supporting capability to develop, test and implement solutions for complex problems and issues.
- Experience or education related to driving execution of projects through stages including research, data‑driven decision‑making, resource and workflow development and successful initiative implementation is preferred.
- Experience in underwriting, product development, risk management, or related functions with significant knowledge of the property and casualty industry is a plus.
- Strong listening, written and verbal presentation.
- Knowledge and experience surrounding CM Group market focus.
