Travel Percentage None Category Manufacturing ## Description The purpose of this position is to monitor all shipping and receiving activities at both plant and off-site warehouse’s. The main objective is to verify and record all incoming and outgoing shipments as well as prepare items for shipment.

* ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

** 1. Compare identifying information and counts, weights or measure items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify against bills of lading, invoices, orders or other records.
2. Determine method of shipment, utilizing knowledge of shipping procedures, routes and rates.
3. Correctly prepare all outgoing shipments for pick-up.4. Coordinate shipping and receiving with third party shipping companies.
5. Oversee all Fed-Ex, UPS, or other special mail shipments.
6. Oversee and handle all incoming shipments.
7. Route incoming shipments to correct storage or work areas.## Qualifications
1. Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as forklift, pallet jack, and delivery truck.
2. Inventory control procedures.
3. Ability to prepare bills of lading and packing lists.
4. Ability to lift 50 pounds.

* EXPERIENCE:

** 1. Must be a high school graduate.
2. Computer input skills. Microsoft Windows, Word, and excel.
3. Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
