As an Orthodontic Assistant, you will be an integral part of creating beautiful smiles for our patients. You will support the Orthodontist and assist in chair-side procedures, including preparing patients, sterilizing instruments, taking digital radiographs, and assisting with laboratory procedures.

• Prepare patients for orthodontic treatments (cleaning, X-Rays, impressions).
• Examine patient mouths and note irregularities.
• Assist the orthodontist during procedures, such as adjusting braces and placing appliances.
• Manage patient records and update charts.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and orthodontic care.
• Sterilize instruments before and after use.
• Follow safety and infection control protocols.
• Complete aligner procedures: attachments, adjustments, and scans.
• Perform full-arch bonding and bonding of fixed retainers.
• Debonding and rebonding brackets.
• Use various digital scanners.
• Make clear retainers.
• Deliver expanders, space maintainers, and Forsus appliances.
• Travel to other clinics and perform all duties, including administrative tasks.
• Participate in marketing events.
• Other tasks as assigned.

• Minimum 1 year orthodontic assisting experience.
• Availability on Saturdays.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Certificate of completion for Orthodontic Assistant Courses (preferred).
• Ability to learn quickly and efficiently.
• Can multitask.
• Professional, organized, and detail-oriented.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Willingness to travel to Homewood, Orland Park, and Munster.

• Monday – Wednesday: 8:45 am – 5:00 pm
• Thursday – Friday: 6:45 am – 3:00 pm
• 2 Saturdays per month
• Two 9:45 am – 6:00 pm shifts per month
• 7925 Taft St, Merrillville, IN 46410.
• Rate of pay: $20–$24 per hour.

Hourly wage range: $20–$24.
