Location:

Merrillville, IN (Hybrid: Monday & Friday Remote, Tuesday–Thursday In-Office)

Contract Type: W2 (Must be authorized to work in the U.S). Sponsorship is not available for this role, including F1/OPT visa holders

Contract Duration: 1 Year

Pay Range: $71/hr – $84/hr

• Design and implement effective database solutions and data models to support company operations.
• Evaluate current systems and identify structural improvements to optimize data architecture.
• Prepare detailed design and architecture reports for management and project stakeholders.
• Ensure all data solutions align with internal data standards, policies, and governance frameworks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data-driven decision-making.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to data privacy standards as a condition of employment.

• Experience:
  • 7+ years in a Data Architecture role (10+ years in IT preferred).
  • Proven track record in designing scalable data architectures and solutions.
• Technical Skills:
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, automation).
  • Expertise in Power BI for executive and HR reporting.
  • Strong command of Microsoft Access, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Deep understanding of database structures, relational systems, and data mining techniques.
  • Experience in IT systems design across various platforms.
• Analytical & Organizational Skills:
  • Highly organized with strong analytical capabilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple data streams and synthesize strategic insights.
• Industry Knowledge:
  • Familiarity with data standards and best practices.
  • Experience or understanding of the Energy Industry is a plus.
