Hiring an Azure Data Solution Architect for a fast-growing data consulting firm specializing in cloud, AI, and advanced analytics.

Our client is a fast-growing technology-driven consulting firm, specializing in Business Intelligence, Artificial Intelligence, Data Engineering, and Advanced Analytics. As the BI and data innovation arm of a leading SAP Gold Partner and Microsoft Partner. They build scalable, modern data architectures that turn complex datasets into actionable insights. With strong expertise in AI, ML, and automation, they deliver intelligent, cloud-ready solutions that drive innovation and digital transformation.

Serving industries like Retail, Healthcare, Hospitality, BFSI, Oil & Gas, energy etc, they tailor solutions to meet evolving business needs. On that note, they are expanding in the U.S. and are currently looking to hire an experienced Azure Solution Architect.

• Work Mode: 5-days in office
• Role type: Contract (3 years)

Role & responsibilities:

• Perform a hybrid role encompassing solution architecture, business analysis, and team leadership.
• Lead and manage engagements across transition, business-as-usual (BAU), and Microsoft Fabric migration phases.
• Collaborate with business users, IT teams, and stakeholders to gather requirements, build trust, and maintain strong client relationships.
• Serve as the primary point of contact between client stakeholders and offshore delivery teams.
• Design and implement optimal architecture tailored to specific client scenarios and needs.
• Develop robust data storage solutions using the Microsoft Fabric framework.
• Identify and implement appropriate data ingestion methods (e.g., Fabric Data Pipelines, Notebooks, or Dataflows Gen2).
• Establish and enforce best practices for administration, security, and governance within Microsoft Fabric.
• Design and deploy Dev Ops processes to support efficient deployment and CI/CD automation.
• Translate business requirements into actionable technical tasks and ensure effective communication within the team.
• Proactively identify project risks, maintain transparency, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment.

Candidate requirements:

• Minimum 12+ years of experience in a similar architectural or technical leadership role.
• Must have experience in ETL, Data warehousing, SQL Server, SQL knowledge, SSIS,
• Rich experience in Azure stack fundamentals - ADF, ADLS, Azure SQL Database, Azure Synapse, Data factory and Pipelines
• Proven experience in solution architecture and enterprise system design.
• Advanced SQL proficiency, including hands-on experience with stored procedures.
• Good to have – Tableau, Python, Power BI, Power Platform, MS Fabric, AI experience
• Strong leadership capabilities with a people-first, team-oriented mindset.
• Excellent analytical, delegation, and strategic thinking skills with good communication and collaboration abilities.
• Good to have – Microsoft Certified:
  Azure Solutions Architect Expert
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder (work authorization required)
