Equipment Assembler Position

Prime Conveyor Inc. is an industry leading manufacturer of conveyor systems and equipment located in Merrillville, IN. We are seeking motivated Equipment Assemblers looking to start or further their experience in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications:

• Highly organized, able to work independently and enjoy a fast‑paced environment.
• Have their own hand tools.
• Wear steel toe boots.
• Ability to lift 40 lbs.
• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings in English.
• Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check.
• Have a GSD (get stuff done) attitude.
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred, but training available.

Essential Job Functions:

• Operating production machinery, hand tools, etc.
• Follow written and verbal work instructions.
• Complete paperwork including weekly timesheets and material order sheets.
• Work from prints to manufacture parts.

Shift

Hours:

6:00am - 4:30pm Monday – Thursday, 6:00am – 3:30pm Friday based on workload. Flexibility is essential; availability to work overtime and/or move between shifts for training and/or coverage purposes to support production as needed.

Schedule: 10‑hour shift, Overtime.
