As a Lead Nurse, you will be responsible for assisting the Director of Nursing in planning, implementing, and managing certain aspects of the nursing department under the direction of the Director of Nursing.

Requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Registered Nurse with a full unencumbered license in the State seeking to practice.
  • Two (2) years of leadership experience (preferred).
Responsibilities
  • Assist the DON with orientation, annual training curriculum and other team education.
  • Attend weekly treatment team meetings.
  • Under DON's direction, help develop the schedule for nursing team to ensure all shifts are covered. Provide coverage when necessary.
  • Provide oversight of inventory, ordering and receiving medical supplies.
  • Maintain compliance with regulations governing alcohol and other drug entities of accrediting bodies by monitoring operations under the direction of the DON.
  • Participate in nursing training and policy compliance.
  • Complete all training in a timely manner.
  • Work with leadership team on state and CARF readiness/surveys and preparation under the direction of the DON.
  • Ensure the treatment plan of the provider or medical director is being followed.
  • Other duties as assigned.
