Principal Duties and Responsibilities (
* Essential Functions):
Minimum Requirements:
- Thorough knowledge of medical equipment.
- Excellent communication and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to administer medications per policies.
- Follow the National Patient Safety Goals.
- Interpret lab and diagnostic results related to patient status.
- Communicate effectively using SBAR.
- Multitasking ability.
- Courteous, compassionate, and positive attitude.
- Skills include bedside manner, infection control, nursing skills, physiological knowledge, medication administration, teamwork, listening, verbal communication, and health promotion.
- ED/ICU: ACLS certification;
Med Surg areas: BLS certification;
College Diploma in Nursing required.
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
- College Diploma in Nursing required.
- Minimum 3 years RN experience.
- Licensed Registered Nurse.
- Certified in CPR.
