Second Shift Plastics Quality Inspector

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Inspector to join our team in the plastics industry. As a Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and safety before they are shipped out. Your keen attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills will be crucial in identifying any defects or issues in the manufacturing process.

• Conduct thorough inspections of plastic products to ensure they meet quality standards
• Identify and document any defects or non-conformities in the manufacturing process
• Implement quality control measures and procedures to improve overall product quality
• Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and provide feedback for process improvement
• Perform random sampling and inspections of raw materials and finished products
• Review and interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure compliance
• Conduct root cause analysis for quality failures and implement corrective actions
• Maintain accurate records of inspection results and provide detailed reports to management

• Proven experience as a Quality Inspector in the plastics industry
• CMM experience
• In-depth knowledge of quality control procedures and regulations
• Familiarity with technical drawings and specifications
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Proficient in using quality inspection tools and equipment
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in quality control is a plus

Compensation: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
