Position: Space Systems Principal Software Engineer - Sign-on Bonus with Security Clearance
Job Description Do you have a Top Secret security clearance and experience building cloud native applications? Are you comfortable writing code in Java and/or React? Do you want to learn about software defined radios? We need your talent, motivation, and vision as a Principal Software Engineer in our Space Systems program area at our Merrimack, NH location. You will join a team of engineers on a program that provides customers with scalable Software Defined Radio (SDR) platforms, utilizing on-site servers and cloud resources for the processing of complex Signals Of Interest (SOIs), enabling real-time situational awareness in support of the warfighter.

Job Responsibilities
• Contribute to the software development of a full stack application with APIs, containers, relational databases, and automated build pipelines.
• Write software with Java, React, and maybe some Python in an agile environment
• Collaborate with the team to troubleshoot and resolve issues identified in the fielded systems
• Apply software best practices on our multi-discipline team Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time on site. Please note that pursuant to a government contract, this specific position requires US citizenship status. Required Education, Experience, & Skills
* TS and ability to obtain CompTIA Security+ certification and pass a CI polygraph
* 6+ years of software development experience, including experience with Java and React
* Experience deploying to the cloud (AWS) with best practices (staging, production, automated testing)
* Strong written and verbal technical communication skills
* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
* CI polygraph
* CompTIA's SECURITY+ certification
* Experience with automated build pipelines, Jenkins, Ansible, & Atlassian tools
* Familiarity with agile development methodologies
* Podman & Kubernetes experience Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $115779 - $196825

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
