Software Engineer in Test

Immediate need for a talented Software Engineer in Test. This is a 12 months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Merrimack, NH (Onsite). Please review the job description below and contact me ASAP if you are interested.

Pay Range: $60–$65/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

• Key Skills;
  Test Automation Frameworks:
  Expertise in Cucumber, Java, and REST services.
• Database & Data Validation:
  Strong knowledge of SQL, DB2, Oracle, and data validation processes.
• Agile/Scrum
  
  Experience:
  
  Hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum, using tools like JIRA, XRAY.
• Dev Ops / CI-CD:
  Familiarity with Maven, Git/Git Hub, Jenkins, Sonar.
• Mainframe & Cobol Knowledge:
  Understanding of Cobol, VSAM files, batch processes, IOM, and mainframe systems
• Proven expertise in standard test automation frameworks – Cucumber, Java, REST services.
• Strong knowledge of data validation and processes – SQL, DB2, Oracle.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments using tools like JIRA, XRAY. Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum processes.
• Dev Ops and CI/CD experience – Maven, Git/Git Hub, Jenkins, Sonar.
• Knowledge of SDLC including coding standards, code reviews, source code management, and build processes.
• Cobol language understanding:
• VSAM files
• Batch processes
• IOM (Input/Output Modules)
• Experience on mainframe-based systems.
• Nice-to-Have
  
  Skills:
• Experience in Financial Services domain (mutual funds, stocks, managed accounts).
• Experience with virtual databases like Delphix or data mockup tools like Wire Mock.
• Cloud services experience – Azure, AWS.
• Strong aptitude and communication skills.
