Role – Python AWS Developer

location – Merrimack, New Hampshire

Hybrid – 2 weeks onsite a month

Must Have – Python, AWS, Kubernetes, Flaks, FastAPI, IAM and Github Copilot

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a technology related field (e.g. Engineering, Computer Science, etc.)
• 9+ years of software engineering experience
• Certifications preferred: AWS Solutions Architect, AWS Developer, or Kubernetes Application Developer.

• Solid understanding/experience in storage, containers, serverless architecture/framework, cloud IAM controls and policies.
• Hands-on experience building and deploying applications using a variety of Amazon Web Services (primarily Cloud Formation, compute, EBS volumes and container).
• Proficient in object‑oriented Python.
• Ability to apply design patterns and object‑orientation to solutions.
• Hands‑on experience with containers and container orchestration.
• Experience managing systems using infrastructure‑as‑code tools (Cloud Formation, Ansible, Terraform, ARM, etc.).
• Strong understanding of Kubernetes concepts/ecosystem and deploying applications into EKS.
• Understanding of versioning and release practices (SCM), code collaboration practices (Git).
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools, especially Jenkins.
• Experience working with database technologies (Oracle/Postgre
  
  SQL/SQL Server) preferred.
• Experience in defining and implementing a comprehensive cloud reliability and observability strategy, ensuring that Fidelity’s cloud systems are always available when our customers need them.
• Strong understanding of engineering excellence principles, defining engineering standards and proven experience of increasing engineering maturity.
• Nice to Have:
  Experience with deploying and managing LLM models, Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG), full‑stack AI engineering with hands‑on experience building and deploying AI‑powered applications.
