We are seeking a motivated Senior Purchasing Agent to join our team at the Kennedy Space Center . This role is essential for supporting procurement activities and ensuring timely acquisition of goods and services that support mission success.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline
- Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and customer interface skills
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Share Point
- Partner with requestors to understand procurement needs and requirements
- Monitor vendor performance and maintain strong supplier relationships
- Reconcile procurement documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Support specific project team to place, track, and report on purchasing requirements
