Job Summary

An established integrated health organization is seeking a full time experienced BC/BE family/internal medicine MD with hospital and emergency room experience. This candidate will work in our family/urgent care clinic with multiple locations in the DFW area. The chosen candidate will be energetic, motivated and able to perform and supervise intravenous infusion. Experience in family/internal medicine is required.

• Examine, diagnose and treat patients of all ages for acute injuries, infections, and illnesses
• Counsels and educates patients and families about acute and chronic conditions, medical concerns, or health wellness
• Formulates diagnostic and treatment plans
• Prescribes and administers medications, therapies, suturing and splinting
• Orders lab and imaging tests to determine and manage an immediate treatment plan and provides advice on follow up
• Refers appropriate tertiary care to specialists or care facilities
• Completes all documentation and paperwork in a timely manner within the electronic medical record
• Supervising assigned midlevel providers and nurses, will be responsible for reviewing quality of care and signing off on midlevel provider's and nurse's patient charts
• Provide excellent patient care and customer service

• Must have valid Texas Medical License
• Must have DPS License
• Federal DEA
• Current Driver's License
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
• Comfortable at providing on-site intravenous infusion therapy
• 5 years post-residency experience ideal; urgent care and outpatient clinic experience preferred
• Certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Bi-lingual English/Spanish is preferred
• Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis for any employer
• Successful candidate must submit to TB testing and vaccinations required by company policy

We are located in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. This is a professional environment working with a fast paced continuously growing team. The job will be Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Work hours may be subject to change depending on surgery schedule. Occasionally, you may be required to work in one of our other TPRG facilities in the Dallas Area.

Ability to read and communicate effectively in English. Additional languages preferred. Demonstrated communication skills that indicate ability to be successful at counseling, teaching, marketing and public relations. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common professional journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from patients, regulatory agencies, or members of the medical and business community.

Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or Boards of Directors. Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and basic fundamentals of accounting, budgeting and forecasting. Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems. Ability to deal with nonverbal symbolism (formulas, scientific equations, graphs, medical notes, etc.)
