This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which includes Integrated Supply Chain, Test Operations, Safety, Quality, and Mission Assurance.

It supports the development and operations of New Glenn, a single‑configuration, heavy‑lift orbital launch vehicle that can carry people and payloads to low‑Earth orbit, geostationary transfer orbit, cislunar, and beyond.

• Relocation provided.
• Travel expected up to 5% of the time.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, supporting all shifts/OT as necessary.
• Multiple positions available.
• Shifts:
  
  Days and Nights.

• Maintenance of spaceflight hardware and equipment.
• Replacement of electrical wire harnesses and instrumentation.
• Drilling close‑tolerance, precision holes in a variety of metals and composites.
• Complex mechanical assembly.
• Crane rigging and lifting operations.
• Assist engineers in reviewing design concepts, providing feedback for improvements.
• Familiarity working with assembly fixture tooling.
• Review and follow written work instructions for complex mechanical installations.
• Innovate and improve processes to increase efficiency of operations.
• Training will start on day shift and may last several months.
• Apply technical expertise, leadership skills, and commitment to quality to positively impact safe human spaceflight.

• Passion for our mission:

• 8+ years’ experience in aerospace, aviation, automotive, offshore operations or related fields.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and electrical schematics.
• Ability to read, understand, and use technical manuals and detailed work instructions.
• Experience and comfortability working in both research and flight environments.
• Knowledge and experience with personal protective equipment.
• Knowledge of different types of aerospace fittings and seals.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to utilize hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment.
• Use of precision measuring instruments and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with hydrostatic, hydraulic, and pneumatic testing.
• Experience with thread insert installation and thread tapping tools.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as be a self‑starter.
• Able to climb ladders, stairs, and work in small, restricted spaces.
• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Familiar with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Must be able to gain U.S. Space Force DBIDS access credentials.

• A&P license or equivalent experience in integration and test of flight systems and structures.
• 10+ years of experience in launch vehicle, propulsion system assembly, vehicle integration, or aircraft assembly and maintenance.
• Experience operating heavy lifting equipment such as cranes and forklifts around flight‑critical hardware.
• Experience with 3‑D Measurement Tools such as Faro Arms, Trackers and Verisurf software.
• Working knowledge of a variety of rocket propellants, including Hydrogen Peroxide, RP‑1, and cryogenics.
• Familiarity with tube fabrication (bend, flare, fittings) and pressurized system safety.
• Knowledge of 3‑D CAD tools (Pro Engineer's preferred).
