This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which is comprised of Integrated Supply Chain, Test Operations, Safety, Quality, and Mission Assurance. This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manufacture, assemble, and test New Glenn (GS1) First Stage Booster according to written procedures
  • Configure new production work areas with the necessary tooling and equipment to ensure efficient workflow and minimize any potential delays during the transition to high-rate manufacturing
  • Operate precision calibrated tools (torque wrenches, micrometers, etc.) to maintain high safety and quality standards
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement projects for safety and efficiency, enhancing overall productivity
  • Drive the transition from development to production, proactively performing troubleshooting and maintenance as needed
  • Maintain clean and organized work areas following 5S principles to promote safety and operational efficiency

The Integration Technician at Blue Origin plays a pivotal role in advancing the efficiency and reliability of aerospace components through cutting‑edge assembly methods. As part of a large, passionate, and accomplished team of experts, you will manufacture and assemble hardware on the first stage of our premier launch vehicle, New Glenn. You will share in the team’s impact on all aspects of transforming the way our tanks are made and integrated.

This position will directly impact the history of space exploration and will require your dedicated commitment and detailed attention toward safe and repeatable spaceflight.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Experience with aerospace manufacturing, integration, or another related field: (0‑3 years Level I Technician, 3+ Level II Technician, 5+ Level III Technician, 8+ Sr Level Technician)
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications accurately
  • Experience with precision calibration tools including torque wrenches, micrometers, calipers, laser tracker, and optical measuring instruments
  • Ability to lift 50lbs and comfortable working at heights (work stands, ladders, lifts) and/or in confined spaces
  • Expertise in various applications, including adhesives, sealants, and thermal blankets
  • Proficiency in digital tools, including Windows and Microsoft Office applications
Preferred Qualifications
  • Industry certification, trade school training and/or degree in related field
