Position OverviewResponsible for constructing and repairing fiberglass boat hulls, decks, and small parts. This role involves using a variety of tools and materials to ensure high‑quality finishes and structural integrity.
Essential Functions- Examine and measure boat parts and components to ensure they meet specified standards and tolerances.
- Use precision tools and equipment, such as calipers, micrometers, and coordinate measuring machines, to verify dimensions and detect defects or inconsistencies.
- Meticulously document inspection findings and maintain accurate records of quality checks.
- Previous experience in quality control or inspection, preferably in a manufacturing or marine environment.
- Proficiency with precision measuring tools and equipment, such as calipers, micrometers, and coordinate measuring machines.
- Excellent attention to detail for identifying defects and inconsistencies in parts and components.
- Ability to meticulously document inspection findings and maintain accurate records.
- High school diploma or GED.

Maintain cleanliness and ensure safety compliance, including PPE adherence and adherence to safety policies and procedures. Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment—such as safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, etc.—and report all hazards to a supervisor immediately. Basic terminology such as OSHA, DEP, and other regulatory agencies must be understood.
PayHourly pay range: $20.60 – $25.05. Actual base pay may vary based on experience, job‑related knowledge/skills, business needs, and location. Eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus, short‑term incentive program, or long‑term incentive program award target may apply.
